Very interesting with English translation throughout. I especially liked the costumes with modern takes on them, the ceramics and the inlaid furniture..

We had a really nice time here - the museum is at once accessible without being pedestrian. It’s a great way to send an hour or two while learning about the unique culture of this special region.

To be fair, without the top floor it would just be very good, but that exhibition of Late Impressionists was the ultimate treat for climbing the stairs. Lots of lovely little discoveries on the way up, like Roman phallic altar, or the marquetry nested tables. However, like many French museums, it has no cafe, which is an untapped revenue stream, as ever. Worth a visit.

Good french (or Breton) language skills are essential if you want to visit. Some explanations are given in English, but I'm afraid I wouldn't recommend this if you lack french skills.
